I believe textbooks still have their place, especially for beginners who need a solid foundation. They often explain grammar clearly and provide structured exercises. However, textbooks can’t fully teach the pronunciation of words or the natural flow of conversation. That’s why combining textbooks with listening to native speakers and practicing speaking is essential. Textbooks are a great start but shouldn’t be the only tool in your learning journey.
Textbooks can offer structure and depth, especially for beginners or those who like a clear path. But their usefulness may depend on how someone prefers to learn and review.
